Crunch Warp.
We’re getting crunchy once again as we continue our crunch talk from last week. However, we’re going to approach this discussion from a different angle by pairing our Kiaayo Overdrive and Aakii Chorus/Vibrato. For the times where you might want to get a little kooky and live life on crispy edge, we’ll share insight on how to obtain some wild yet killer tones. Fair warning though, it’s dirty, mean, warbly, and unclean.
Subtly sweet.
Dim the lights, lower the gain, and dial back the crunch. We’re going to keep things simple this week with Kiaayo and Buffalo days. We’ll have a small taste of Kiaayo’s crunch and top it off with a little space created from Buffalo Days. You’ll notice little bit of chording and we might throw in a lick or two in, but we hope to capture the subtle yet sweet dynamics of both Kiaayo and Buffalo Days.
Wright State University Interview - November 2023.
I was interviewed by Dennis over at Wright State University this week. Wright State University is the college where I earned both my Bachelors and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. We talked all things NativeAudio.
Following the interview, I was given the opportunity to talk with our future entrepreneurs about business and networking. We had a such a blast!
War Pony.
We’re releasing a small herd of War Pony out into the wild that will be available for today only at NativeAudio.com. War Pony is an overdrive and distortion, delivering tone that’s aggressive, wild, and designed for battling a range of tonal situations. Originating from our War Party, War Pony completely removes all boundaries when it comes to NativeAudio design.
Let’s get ramping (ramp mode explored).
We’re continuing our informative series where we explore the tap and ramp features of NativeAudio pedals. In this blog, we’re going to learn what ramp mode is, how to use it, the benefits, and what a ramp tremolo sounds like in action.
Let’s get tapping (tap mode explored).
We’re starting a new informative series where we explore the tap and ramp features of NativeAudio pedals. In this blog, we’re going to learn what tap mode is, how to use it, the benefits, and what a tap tremolo sounds like in action.
Adding warble to delay.
We continue to explore the Aakii Chorus/Vibrato and its ability to texturize time-based effects. Next on the plate is delay and we’ll have some help from our Two Medicine Delay. Using Aakii, we’ll show how you can add modulation capabilities to a delay and take an already great sounding delay and advance its tonal possibilities.
Smart switching with Aakii.
Smart switching has become a standard feature across all NativeAudio products, allowing for an extra level of versatility that features both latch and momentary switching. We think it’s important to take a moment to share our thoughts on our smart switching and the benefits that come with it.
Ambient Aakii.
We continue exploring how the Aakii Chorus/Vibrato plays with other pedals in the NativeAudio line by using Aakii to texturize your reverb tone.
