The bread and the bear.
In today’s blog we demonstrate one of my favorite stacking combinations, Frybread Fuzz and Kiaayo. These two get along effortlessly, and between the two are capable of everything from subtle boost to extreme fuzz. Join us as we explore the wide range of textures and tones achievable with this potent pairing.
Home on the range.
There are a lot of places that our pedals can take us. From reverberated echoes to disastrous fuzz, pedals have a pretty cool way of helping us express our music. No matter how far pedals take our tone, each one always seems to find its home with a specific sound. For Kiaayo, it’s about the smooth, tight crunch that walks the edge of breakup with its color and dynamic range. Today, we’re exploring Kiaayo’s home on the range (gain range that is).
Crunch Warp.
We’re getting crunchy once again as we continue our crunch talk from last week. However, we’re going to approach this discussion from a different angle by pairing our Kiaayo Overdrive and Aakii Chorus/Vibrato. For the times where you might want to get a little kooky and live life on crispy edge, we’ll share insight on how to obtain some wild yet killer tones. Fair warning though, it’s dirty, mean, warbly, and unclean.
Subtly sweet.
Dim the lights, lower the gain, and dial back the crunch. We’re going to keep things simple this week with Kiaayo and Buffalo days. We’ll have a small taste of Kiaayo’s crunch and top it off with a little space created from Buffalo Days. You’ll notice little bit of chording and we might throw in a lick or two in, but we hope to capture the subtle yet sweet dynamics of both Kiaayo and Buffalo Days.
VaLEDine’s Day Kiaayo
Today we take a deep dive into our new and limited VaLEDine’s Day Kiaayo. It’s a new perspective on one of our best sellers and a NativeAudio classic - the results are magical.
