Built around a transistor-based circuit with an integrated low-pass filter in its octave generator, it delivers rich harmonics and massive output. The Story Behind Commodity Fuzz

Commodity Fuzz is a tribute to my Blackfeet (Amskaapi Piikuni) heritage and a celebration of the creativity and resilience that defines our Native communities. Inspired by the resourcefulness of our ancestors, who transformed government-issued commodity foods into cultural staples like frybread, this pedal honors their enduring innovation.

While commodity foods are rooted in a complex history of Westernization and the loss of traditional foodways, they also symbolize the strength and adaptability of Native people. Commodity Fuzz embodies that same spirit—turning simple elements into a bold, expressive sonic feast. Its design empowers musicians to craft wild, unapologetic tones, reminding us that creativity and resilience are the foundation for transformation and lasting expression.
