Ghost Ridge and Danelectro Baby Sitar get buzzy.
Adding some verb to to the baby sitar.
In today's blog we explore what the Ghost Ridge hall setting can add to the already wild sound of the the Danelectro Baby Sitar. Let's get buzzy!
0:00 - 0:20 The bypass tone.
We start out with an example of the baby sitar’s dry sound. It’s already a fun and unique sound but with a little help from Ghost Ridge we can make it great.
0:21 - 0:59 Creating a more convincing sitar sound.
In this section, we use the Ghost Ridge hall setting to elongate the naturally staccato sound of the baby sitar. This helps make the sitar sound more convincing and emulates some of the added sustain you would get from a sitar with traditional sympathetic strings.
1:00 - 1:40 Be careful you don’t fall in.
Here we switch to a hall setting with a higher mix and depth resulting in a reverb that conjures up images of deep caverns and expansive canyons.
Let’s make some noise!
Now that we’ve explored the possible, let’s go and create the impossible. Visit here for Ghost Ridge.
