Fall in love with your bass tone.

Soul mates.

Today we are playing matchmaker with bass and the extremely limited V-day Makoyii. Join us to witness the sparks fly between these two love birds.

Feeling no pain. 0:00 – 0:56

We begin our journey with the PAIN control all the way down. This results in an aggressive sound with enough grit to bring you into the forefront, while retaining the low end you require to anchor the band.

Smooth operator. 0:57 – 1:41

Next, we will bring the TONE down a little but start to add some dirt with the PAIN knob. The tone here is robust and full, with defined low-end, emphasized mids, and articulate top-end that stays smooth. If clean bass tone isn’t your thing, this can work as an always on bass drive setting.

Down to pluck. 1:42 – 2:26

In this next section we bring the TONE control down and turn the PAIN control up to achieve a wooly rhythm bass tone that growls when you play soft, and howls when you dig in, for a responsive distortion experience that goes wherever you want to take it.

Flirtin’ with hurtin’. 2:27 – 3:15

Things are starting to get a little dangerous at this point, but hey that’s how love goes right? As we continue to increase the PAIN control our sound becomes more commanding, with tons of lows, biting mids, and sparkle in the treble range. It’s getting hard to imagine our lives before we met V-day Makoyii.

Bump and grind. 3:16 – 3:57

We can’t hold our feelings back anymore, so let’s dive into the deep end! With the PAIN control maxed out we create a wall of bass fuzz insanity. Roaring low end, screaming mids, and all the sizzling bite to cut through a band mix. in a word, LOVE.

Let’s make some noise.

Now that we’ve explored the possible, let’s go and create the impossible. Visit here for Makoyii.
