Reverb for days.

A buffet of reverbs at your finger tips.

Today, we are checking out Buffalo Days’ four different reverb algorithms. With its gig friendly layout and multiple modes, Buffalo Days makes dialing in the perfect reverb easy, fast, and fun.

0:00 - 0:06 The bypass signal.

To begin today’s blog, we show a quick sample of the bypass tone. For this example we are using the neck position on a Strat.

0:07 - 0:24 In a small hall.

The first mode we will explore today is the hall setting, we are using a moderate amount of mix and depth to achieve a warm and full sound with a long decay. This setting provides a versatile and musical reverb that works well in any situation.

0:25 - 0:50 Gold plated.

Next we check out the plate setting, this sound yields brighter reflections and produces a shimmering metallic quality in more extreme settings. The added high end content in this mode makes it a excellent choice to help you stand out in mix.

0:51 - 1:15 Room to bloom.

Now let’s check out the room mode, this setting recreates the sound of playing in a small reflective space. The decay is shorter and the reflections are darker. This setting is great if you want a more organic sounding reverb.

1:16 - 1:40 Bring on the spring.

Moving on, we have our spring mode. Whether you’re wanting to add some surfy drip, or mimic the reverb found in 60’s tube combos, this is the mode for you. Vintage, vibey, perfect.

1:41 - 2:04 Over hall.

Lastly, let’s revisit the hall setting and crank both mix and depth to create a wall of reverb. This mode creates a larger than life reverb that still allows your playing to shine through.

Let’s make some noise!

Now that we’ve explored the possible, let’s go and create the impossible. Visit here for Buffalo Days.
