A little help from our friends.

A potent pairing.

Today we are combining two of our favorite pedals, Buffalo Days and Makoyii to see what kind of trouble we can get into. Let’s go!

0:00 - 0:23 Clean chord progression.

In this section of the video, we demonstrate the bypass signal using the neck position of the trusty old Fender Duo-Sonic. It’s a great starting point but with a little help from Buffalo Days and Makoyii we can transform it into something spectacular!

0:24 - 0:44 Bring on the verb!

Now that we have a base tone we like, let’s add some hall reverb to give it some atmosphere. This setting is warm and expansive, adding a lovely emphasis to your pick attack that highlights the dynamics in your playing.

0:45 - 1:36 The nitty gritty.

Finally, let’s add a little grit from Makoyii to round out our sound and add some character. In this setting you get a nice boost in the low end for a wooly but articulate drive sound. Notice how the playing dynamics influence the break up here, creating a responsive and inspiring drive experience.

Let’s make some noise!

Now that we’ve explored the possible, let’s go and create the impossible. Visit here for Buffalo Days.
