Chopping the Bass VI.

Bass meets trem.

In today’s blog, we put a Danelectro Bass VI through the Rising Sun to get a classic amp-style tremolo.

Shake it up with the OG.

Tremolo was the first popular modulation effect and is a great way to add a vintage vibe to any progression. In this example, we use a sine wave with a quick rate and high depth for an old school feel. As a result, we’re able to capture classic trem tones with the benefit of modern control.

Keep the low end while you’re flowin’.

When it comes to modulation and bass, it can be a struggle to maintain your low end. With the Rising Sun, we wanted to capture all the movement without sacrificing the bass. This means the Rising Sun can be used on a multitude of instruments, where maintaining low-end content is crucial.

Let’s make some noise!

Now that we’ve explored the possible, let’s go and create the impossible. Visit here for Rising Sun.
